Baltona subsidiary of Flemingo International has refurbished and opened its shop at Montpellier Airport, south of France. Whilst the operation was launched recently, the formal opening of the entire terminal which is undergoing extensive development will happen with participation of airport authorities in September this year. Baltona has been part of the Flemingo group since 2010 and has been listed on the Warsaw exchange since 2011.

The operation has been allotted a space of 250 sq m just before the boarding gates. It is a walk through space arrangement dealing with multi categories such as Liquor, Tobacco, Confectionery, and strong representative of local and regional product offer (food, souvenirs and wines) and caters to both Schengen and Non-Schengen passengers.

Baltona is the largest Duty Free and Duty Paid operator in Poland with a market share of 50% and is present in 8 out of 13 polish airports. With total shop footage of more than 3000 sq m, it has been expanding steadily in Europe and commenced operations in Romania and Ukraine last year. It has master concession in Poznan, Rzeszów and since this year in Gdańsk airport and has many brands under its portfolio. Under F&B concepts which are present in 3 airports, it has Coffee Corner, Coffee Express, Dog Corner and the Travel Chef opened last year.
